A Marriage of Underwear...

I had so much fun at Uncle Pants and Auntie Panties wedding the other week. I got to wear a beautiful fairy dress, flowers in my hair, hold a pretty bunch of flowers, have my picture taken lots and dance like a ballerina for hours…

What more does a girl want??

Mummy took me to the church with Auntie Panties and her bridesmaids and Mummy (which was really exciting). At the church I was really brave and walked down the aisle with the older bridesmaids (without Mummy and Daddy) and I even remembered to smile (so I’m not sure why Mummy was crying!!).

Auntie Panties looked so beautiful in her dress (which was nearly as lovely as mine!) and even Uncle Pants managed to look quite smart!!

After the Church bit, and some posing for photos, we all went on a great big, red double-decker bus to a hotel where we would get some food. Evan really loved the bus of course.

At dinner time we all sat at these huge round tables with other people and ate our dinner (fish fingers and chocolate pudding, no, not together), then while the grown ups were busy talking, Evan and I decided to hide under the tables at the back of the room - they made a great house until Evan ruined it by pulling the cloth of the top so we had to stop playing that game!! But thankfully Uncle Morgan was there so we had someone to play with!!

But… the best bit of the day was the dancing. Evan and I danced for hours and hours to a really cool band. Mummy said that Evan was dancing like a man called John Cleese who does a silly walk!! Of course I was doing beautiful ballerina dancing just like I practice at home, but this time I had lots of people to watch me. I did get a bit tired at the end of the evening (Mummy said it was the middle of the night when we got home, WOW!), but Evan couldn’t stop dancing, even Uncle Morgan couldn’t keep up with him (Daddy said this was something to do with what Morgan had drunk, so I think it must have been some juice that was off or something?)

Eventually it was time to go home and our lovely friends Doc and Karen had brought their cars to take us home, although I don’t remember the journey home much!

All I want to say now is THANKYOU to Uncle and Auntie Pants for the best day of my life (so far)…
